We recently flew Qatar Airways for our trip to Madrid, and that meant that we would have a stopover in Doha to stretch our legs for a couple of hours – passengers of Qatar’s business class gets to use their dedicated Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge – to find it look for the giant Teddy Bear that the prince of Qatar apparently bought for many millions of dollars – the escalator to the lounge is closeby.

Staff check your tickets at the bottom of the escalator and the counter area is quite nice – counters are there for you to sort out any flight issues.

The lounge itself is frankly gorgeous – and there are many many spots for you to get comfortable and just relax in – there are seats everywhere!
As with most lounges, the food is quite important – and there’s 2 separate restaurants, with the main one being upstairs where there’s a buffet and bar area. Food variety were quite decent for a late night snack (was about 1am) – staff were very attentive and helpful.
For those who have kids – there’s also a nice little game room area.
And now for the centerpiece of the place – the water feature – it has a nice tranquil feel to it and separates the various seating areas nicely to spread out the privacy of the lounge.
The water feature also creates droplets that kind of feels like it’s raining – love it!
