With the recent stay in Bangkok, I was quite impressed with the actual hotel facilities, but one thing that deserves its own post is the Club Lounge itself, where if you’re staying at the club rooms, you have full access to breakfast and also cocktail happy hour at night. Another standout about the lounge itself is the view.

This photo was taken when we first arrived and got checked in at the lounge, at that time, I was feeling a little peckish (when am I not) – and we happily accepted the offer for an afternoon tea set.

The sandwiches were really good and if you wanted more, you can always ask for more, which is great! I held back though – because Ms. Buddha was giving me that “How can you consume so much” stare.
We made an effort to visit the lounge again for the cocktail hours where the view is frankly even more amazing, and well worth the extra money spent.

The food was also excellent, the service is always incredible in Thailand and the waitstaff proactively offered hot dishes and fill-ups on the drinks – the thing that really gets me is that the food itself was excellent and changed for the couple of nights that we visited – the lounge (like many other hotels) does get a bit crowded – so make sure you get there early to reserve a spot.
