ArtScience Museum, Singapore – Maurits Escher Exhibit – Photo Gallery

When it comes to traveling, one thing that I really enjoy is to geek out and just go to museum and spend hours there, so after my excellent meal at Koothurar Nasi Briyani Restaurant, I decided to visit the ArtScience Museum, which is located effectively next to the Marina Bay Sands casino.

The building itself is quite nice, and obviously the view around the area is also very impressive.

When I got inside, I actually didn’t know what was on, so I was very intrigued when there was an exhibit on Maurits Escher’s work, who is famous for his impossible objects – and being a fan of Dali – it was too good for me to pass up on.

The gallery itself was excellent and went through the life of M.C. Escher from his training in Netherlands to Italy till when he created the works that he is most famous for – for someone who feels most at home with English, the whole exhibit was excellent in the fact that it was very detailed and allowed me to just be absorbed for a few hours in just the wonders of one man’s work.
