With my lonely short trip to Singapore done – it was time to head home – once again, the transfer to the airport was about 30mins and I was at the Cathay check-in in a blink. The immigration and security checks at the Changi Airport is incredibly quick and after immigration – I headed over to the Dnata Lounge – which is the Lounge that Cathay Pacific uses flying out of Singapore.

Feeling a little peckish (and because food at lounges is what draws me) – I headed to the food area where the offering wasn’t “Fantastic” but wasn’t too bad either

There were the nibbles side with curry and spring rolls (weren’t that great); and given that it’s Singapore, there’s also Hainanese Chicken Rice – rice tasty, chicken was dry.

After that – I managed to try a bit of the pasta and the sausages – both were done a lot better than the Asian variety; which is surprising given that we’re in Singapore and everywhere else the Asian food has been fantastic.

With belly filled, I waddled over to the seating area which was empty and I found a comfy seat whilst I waited for boarding.
